Harvest: Picked 11/1/13, Brix=22.6, pH=2.97, TA=11.6g/L

Processing (Wine Making):Whole-cluster pressed into stainless-steel tank and slowly fermented over 40 days. Bottled in January 2014. 
RS:2.9%, Alcohol: 11.5%

Tasting Notes: Off-dry, with tangerine, lime, ginger root, and wet stone.

Aspect/Altitude/Climate/Soil: SE-facing, steep,terraced slopes, 800-1200 feet, non-irrigated, volcanic loam.

Winemaker Comments: "The location of Underwood Mountain Vineyard, on a steep volcanic hillside high above the Columbia River Gorge, is the perfect climate for providing the lengthy ripening season needed for the Riesling grape’s intense flavors to develop, while not losing the acidity that’s core to the grape. Flavors of tangerine, lime, ginger root, and wet stone combine to make a delicious off-dry Riesling that finishes dry.” —Michael Savage
