A blend of 95% Syrah cofermented with 5% Viognier, Luma Rouge is deep red in color with flavors of bright fruit and soft tannins. Luma Rouge is a tribute to Péta Lùuma and the heady, dark-skinned Syrah that grows here. This Côte-Rôtie style wine is co-fermented with handfuls of light Viognier, bringing out light, earthy notes that capture the land’s cool and even temper.
To date, Luma Rouge has aided in the fundraising efforts of Petaluma’s Old Adobe School District, The Petaluma Boys & Girls Club, and PEP Housing. Corkscrew Wines is committed to aiding efforts of organizations that benefit Petaluma, as well as Sonoma and Marin County communities. Named for the winery’s hometown, 5% of sales of Luma Rouge are being directed to Northern Bay Area community organizations.
